โ€ข Emergency first aid

Civil defense drill

Emergency treatment without prior consent is illegal

This is a screenshot from civil defense cyber training I just watched

To capture this video, I had to rewind the civil defense video multiple times using a player with no rewind function

From now on, if I need to go back, I'll have to watch the entire video from the beginning again;;;

ย

There is a breakdown later that distinguishes between "explicit consent" and "implicit consent"

But it basically came down to: if the patient is conscious, you need the patient's consent; if unconscious or a minor, you need the guardian's consent

Call 119 from the civil defense center and discuss it with them while proceeding, they say

๐Ÿฐ

Sure, it might work out. The problem is getting sued and dragged around for months dealing with investigations + emotional trauma before getting acquitted

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

Nowadays CPR instructors literally tell people not to do it on women, even female CPR instructors tell people not to do it. One female instructor said she used to teach the opposite, but then someone from a company's safety department who trained under her got sued after doing CPR, so she had to testify in court and feels terrible about it. She now teaches not to do it even without undoing the bra. That video clip came out like 2-3 years ago, and those English-speaking feminists kept insisting nothing like that happens, but eventually reality exposed the truth despite their mandatory retraining BS

Where? Up until 2 years ago I was getting emergency response training every year as a non-full-time reserve soldier and the military never said anything like that. I've been working in childcare for 8 years, so I get separate emergency response training once a year apart from reserve duty. I just got training this past Monday, and whether military or civilian, there was absolutely nothing about not doing it on women. They actually said deactivators don't require removing underwear with metal stays since it's safe, and for pad placement you don't need to remove all clothesโ€”just attach the pad directly to skin under the clothing. So it's fine

๐Ÿฐ

Where? I just went to my first year of civil defense training and they said to absolutely do it

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

I did hear something similar at reserves last year. They said to be careful since the world is sensitive these days and explained sexual harassment stuff. It probably won't go to prosecution, but it definitely becomes a hassle

๐Ÿฐ

Where did that instructor come from? Are you some kind of dick-brained feminist stirring division and making up a fabricated story that no dumbass would believe? If it really happened, explain which instructor said that

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

Where did you take that training? Never heard of that before. I didn't hear anything like that at the safety experience center run by the city in connection with my company last year

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

Isn't that just saying to get consent when the victim is conscious or has a guardian present? Surely they're not demanding consent from someone who's dying without consciousness?

๐ŸฆŠ

They don't say it that harshly

๐Ÿฐ

They're not saying don't do CPR

๐ŸฆŠ

Is that person a guy?

๐Ÿฐ

Off topic but thanksโ€”I forgot about civil defense training and just started it. Let me rewind it now~~~

๐Ÿฐ

"You look like you're dyingโ€”should I save you?" LMAOOOOO

๐Ÿฐ

The horse is so random it made me actually read the post ๐Ÿ˜ญ and yeah fair point

๐Ÿฐ

The sarcasm in this title is STRONG and honestly I'm here for the discourse in the replies

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

If someone collapses just let them die, got it

๐Ÿฐ

Not everyone will agree but the progress on education and healthcare access has been real though

๐Ÿฐ

Just have men save men and women save women, what's the big deal

๐Ÿฐ

What if the woman saved by a female rescuer then claims she's a lesbian and felt sexual shame being touched by a woman?

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

That kind of tantrum would be blocked by good samaritan laws

๐ŸฆŠ

If the good samaritan law was applied properly, that situation in the main post shouldn't even happen

๐Ÿฐ

There haven't been actual prosecution cases yet though, so I hope people aren't too scared. Honestly if someone's dying in front of me, I'm gonna save them without thinking twice

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

The fact that it even goes to trial is the real problem here. A hundred times over, sure, you could get charged, but a proper country would end it at the investigation stage

๐Ÿฐ

I wish the prosecutor would just say: 'Wait, you saved this person's life and now you're filing a complaint? What the fuck are you talking about?'

๐Ÿฐ

Wait what's the horse for? Am I missing context or is this just chaos

๐ŸฆŠ

When you get training, they explain all the possible ways you can do it, and by the end it just feels like doing nothing is better. You help someone and still get dragged in for questioning

๐Ÿฐ

okay but which activists are we talking about? because there's been good and questionable ones throughout history ngl

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

Unless it's family or really close friends, just call 119 and don't do anything else. Don't save strangers' lives if it means you and your family end up miserable living like trash

๐Ÿฐ

Why wouldn't I? Just do the opposite of what the government says and you'll do fine on average

๐Ÿฐ

Codec 2X reverse full buy LET'S GO!!!

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

lmaooo the horse emoji is sending me ๐Ÿ’€ but seriously women activists have done incredible things for society

๐ŸฆŠ

As someone from a country where women literally fought for our independence, this hits different ๐Ÿ™Œ
