Your friend hit the lottery but didn't do the n-bang ④ 31 minutes ago 194
Last week three friends were drinking together and bought lottery tickets. While buying, one of them was like "yo if this hits 2nd prize or higher we're doing n-bang~" and the rest were like "bet, whoever hits 2nd prize or higher we all do n-bang together" that's the vibe we had ㅇㅇ As always, nobody hits or someone gets 5th prize or whatever, but this time it was different. We checked and literally one person hit 2nd prize ;;; For convenience let's call that person A.
So we told A about the n-bang and suddenly he was like that's kinda not it and said he could only split like 1 million won. So we were like nah we're doing n-bang ;; He said if he hit he would've really done n-bang, but we called him out for having no loyalty or whatever. I thought similarly so I went along with it, but A was just like nah I can split 1 million. 1 million is money right? You buy 1 ticket for 1 million and get 100 back—that's like a 200x return in the short term, isn't that crazy? Logic activated lmaooo
We talked for like 5 minutes but A didn't seem into the n-bang thing and didn't look like talking would change his mind so we were like aight. Then we were talking with another friend like "he would've really done n-bang with us if he hit" and stuff. We were like that's probably A's true colors or whatever (Even if he did n-bang with 2nd prize it'd be like 1500 or so and his life wouldn't change and it's not even worth a car so just doing n-bang makes more sense is what I think)
Anyway the more we talked about it the more it felt weird so we were like okay you don't even need to give us 100 and we figured A's loyalty is just at that level so we're cutting ties with him probably but what do you guys think?

I bet most of them didn't even give 100

@Oddfb67f Is that so..
Comment 27 minutes ago
There's no proof, whose money did you buy it with, and who had it?
Comment 24 minutes ago I found cash in my padding jacket pocket so I was like let's each buy one with that, so we just ended up each taking one. I don't wanna get into who paid for it or ownership claims or whatever.. Comment

If you get 1 billion won, are you gonna split it equally? What nonsense, talking about loyalty and all that. Soon as someone offers to buy you a meal, you're running over celebrating like crazy. There are way too many fake losers here. I wish you guys would show your true colors already. I'm gonna quickly cut ties with you all. Later when you make good money and get rich, you'll be all bougie and keep demanding I pay for your meals lmao

6 minutes ago. Congrats to the winner, but honestly, those who won't celebrate or whine about missing out are all the same anyway—not the kind of friends who stick around. When someone offers 100, take it and cut ties cleanly so you can each go your own way. Even if it's just 100, that person's in the top 10% of friends. But you bastards who get all serious about coming in 2nd and keep whining about missing out—just take the L gracefully and make yourself scarce, yeah? [comment]

Your friend's got good luck lol. Just 100 and they can deal with broke bitches.

But wait, if the author bought the ticket with their own money and agreed to split it equally, shouldn't it still count as an equal split?

The author bought it with their own money and already agreed to split—that IS an equal split. If the author had used their own money and mentioned splitting AFTER winning, that'd be different. But this? That's a legit split.
Honestly if I split lottery winnings with someone, I'd be losing sleep over the taxes lol. Like do I pay income tax first then split, or do I worry about gift tax too??? 💀
If they're a real friend, you gotta split it 50/50. If they're just some casual acquaintance, nah, you keep all million.
Only if it's first prize. If it's second prize, then you split.
If the author bought it, they gotta split it.
