While buying, one of them was like "yo if this hits 2nd prize or higher we're doing n-bang~" and the rest were like "bet, whoever hits 2nd prize or higher we all do n-bang together" that's the vibe we had ㅇㅇ As always, nobody hits or someone gets 5th prize or whatever, but this time it was different. We checked and literally one person hit 2nd prize ;;; For convenience let's call that person A.
So we told A about the n-bang and suddenly he was like that's kinda not it and said he could only split like 1 million won. So we were like nah we're doing n-bang ;; He said if he hit he would've really done n-bang, but we called him out for having no loyalty or whatever. I thought similarly so I went along with it, but A was just like nah I can split 1 million. 1 million is money right? You buy 1 ticket for 1 million and get 100 back—that's like a 200x return in the short term, isn't that crazy? Logic activated lmaooo
We talked for like 5 minutes but A didn't seem into the n-bang thing and didn't look like talking would change his mind so we were like aight. Then we were talking with another friend like "he would've really done n-bang with us if he hit" and stuff. We were like that's probably A's true colors or whatever (Even if he did n-bang with 2nd prize it'd be like 1500 or so and his life wouldn't change and it's not even worth a car so just doing n-bang makes more sense is what I think)
Anyway the more we talked about it the more it felt weird so we were like okay you don't even need to give us 100 and we figured A's loyalty is just at that level so we're cutting ties with him probably but what do you guys think?

The author bought it with their own money and already agreed to split—that IS an equal split. If the author had used their own money and mentioned splitting AFTER winning, that'd be different. But this? That's a legit split.
Honestly if I split lottery winnings with someone, I'd be losing sleep over the taxes lol. Like do I pay income tax first then split, or do I worry about gift tax too??? 💀
If they're a real friend, you gotta split it 50/50. If they're just some casual acquaintance, nah, you keep all million.
Only if it's first prize. If it's second prize, then you split.
