A Korean-Chinese caregiver put the patient to sleep in a wheelchair and slept in a bed themselves—a student nurse captured it on camera and is venting that the hospital isn't doing anything special to stop it..
So there's this Korean-Chinese caregiver who puts the patient to sleep in a wheelchair and sleeps in a bed themselves—apparently a student nurse took a photo of it. And apparently most caregivers are out-of-control types who even talk back and argue with medical staff. Let's stay healthy lol

If you don't like the caregiver, just have family members take turns.
Yeah, that doesn't always work either. My grandma needed care but whenever my uncles tried to do certain tasks it turned into a whole thing, so the women had to do everything—then they all bailed lol
There's a saying: in long illnesses, there are no dutiful sons. It's literally true.
Once you've been through a long hospital stay, you realize caregiving robots or nothing—there's no other solution lol. There are so many terrible caregivers because the job itself is absolute hell honestly
The Joseonjok caregiver lady I saw when I was admitted was strong and really took great care, but it's person to person I guess
We desperately need humanoid prison guards, humanoid housekeepers, and humanoid caregivers.
The caregiver I had when I was admitted was super hardworking and did a great job though.
My mom who passed away 13 years ago also got mistreated by a Joseonjok caregiver
If you don't trust caregivers, just do it yourself lmaooo
Honestly if you don't trust anything in life, just do it yourself lmaooo
That's facts though... I can hold someone accountable for messing up if I'm not doing it myself, but ultimately the only way to prevent that is if I just do it
This is actually important because the caregiving industry in Korea is insane and nobody talks about it enough
not me learning a new word today but honestly respect to anyone doing care work, that job is exhausting
I'd rather hire a Korean caregiver, but usually a Chinese group caregiver charges like 80-90 an hour while a Korean individual caregiver is like 300-400—money aside, it's also just hard to find a Korean caregiver. They're basically unicorns
Korean caregivers are literally unicorns lol that's what I learned trying to find one
Wait, joseonjok caregivers are getting recognized now? Finally someone's talking about this, they do SO much work for real
Honestly if you just visit like twice a month and call a few times a week, caregivers can't mess with patients. Even visiting just once a month gets you called a dutiful son by the nurses
lol i had no idea this was even a thing until now but the comments have me invested, what's the tea? 👀
The way people are getting mad in the replies is so predictable... let me grab popcorn 🍿
As someone who works in healthcare, can confirm this hits different, caregivers deserve better treatment everywhere
Okay but why is this just trending now? This should've been a conversation ages ago tbh
