The Dream Light Patissier Merchandise Sale is Causing Chaos These Days...

This popup for the webtoon <Dream Gleam Party Ciel> that opened today is absolutely insane. Unlike the previous announcement, even if you waited in line, you couldn't get in. According to the notice, we lined up to get a waiting ticket, but when it was our turn and we got to the front, they suddenly gave us a quiz asking us to match Dream Gleam Party Ciel characters, and if we didn't get it right immediately, they told us to step aside and wouldn't give us a waiting ticket. When people asked why there was no prior notice about this, they didn't answer, and they just aggressively responded that this popup is only for fans who got the questions right. Everyone at the scene was really disappointed...!
For those thinking of visiting the popup, please take note. These days, there's a rumor that you can make some money reselling webtoons and toys, so scalpers and dealers from moms' cafes to grandparents are flooding inβthe resale market is saturated. These reseller bastards are so desperate that when fans point out how they're asking elementary school-level quizzes like "here are pictures of the main characters, guess their names" instead of anything obscure or niche from the webtoon, and claiming it's "stealing fans' dreams," it's so ridiculous I can't help but cringe lmaooo. Like, what dream did they lose? The dream they lost was just trying to make pocket change by scraping up merchandise worth a few thousand to tens of thousands of won because they don't have capital to invest in anything. π
