So people are mad that AI censorship of illegal recordings is preventing them from watching illegal recordings? Then I guess during the anti-terrorism law, they were upset that it was preventing terrorism lol.

Because those in power could use a seemingly justified pretext to censor the perfectly legitimate opinions of ordinary people

Why would we need to conduct random home searches on the entire population to stop drug trafficking? You got a problem with that? What, you f***ing dealing drugs?
We should give police the authority to preemptively execute anyone with potential criminal tendencies for public safety. You oppose this? So you're a criminal?
Just do Minority Report already lol f*** โ beat the bullshit talkers until they shut up
Authorities dragged innocent people to Namsan and tortured them to death not that long ago. There are people still alive today who got decades of prison time after sloppy investigations and trials for crimes they didn't commit. What exactly has changed?
I'm against all of it. Personally, every time this country passes a special law, there's no real legislation โ it's always reactive. Whenever something happens, they use it as an excuse to add one more control measure. If you disagree, they make you out to be a bad guy
nah sorry but if someone's recording people without consent that's literally a crime, AI filtering that seems like the bare minimum tbh
The state treats its citizens like children, acting like they're the parent
wait so they're saying AI should just let illegal stuff slide? that's wild, but i get the point about who decides what's 'illegal' in different countries lol
This is actually a really good argument I hadn't thought about... like what counts as illegal changes everywhere, so why would one algorithm be the judge? ๐ค
