I wish goddamn Seung-hee would get her act together. Users keep posting politics on the suggestion board and anonymous board, but nothing gets resolved. Even when she can't handle something, just say ''we can't take action for these reasons'' or something. Instead it's just radio silence lol. I saw a comment where someone literally mentioned left vs right, then someone reported it saying ''bye,'' and the replies were packed with that, so I went to check and that comment is still up there lmao

Fact: Even hardcore politics forum users roll tons of political bait in UG. A few years back, there was actually a culture where politics forum users would monitor anyone rolling political bait in UG, regardless of which side they were on. But once they started linking from the politics forum to direct firepower at UG, that died off. Now those firepower-directing posts get banned so much they're basically gone too.
Real talk though, why do we do this to ourselves? I need to touch grass instead of getting mad at politicians I'll never meet

Honestly I really wish those Jeong Yong-jin posts would stop coming up. I get that he's a total idiot, but once or twice was enough—the tone keeps getting stronger
What's funny is them telling people to go to the politics forum when it's already tilted one way (which is fine, I guess), but if anyone says something that doesn't match their taste they straight up mob them, lynch them, and kick them out. Then they cross over to UG and stalk people for months?? Basically they just want people who agree with them. It's so bad that posts about ''let's be nice to the new politics forum people'' come up, and obviously get ignored. Different topic, but back in the day there was literally a ''Northern Expedition culture'' where they'd tear up the UG. Seung-hee banned a few people and it stopped, but the traces are still searchable. Back then they'd straight up use links or screenshots to direct firepower, but nowadays they're sneaky about mentioning UG and doing it anyway.
Literally all day it's MBC China Shin-ahn Jeolla-do exchange rates real estate porn screening on repeat. Then when some issue like Starbucks pops up that they find suspicious, they throw whataboutism at it and just muddy the waters forever. Like, are they doing this moral education thing because it's fun, or because they have some mission to enlighten people?
