Like c'mon, you gotta prepare MORE than the expected turnout rate. You should stock at least 5% extra buffers, right? lol
The last election already had so many controversies with the election commission, why isn't anything improving? Why are they just making more mess?
These lazy bastards spend all their time sucking up and taking breaks, so they have zero motivation to fix anything lol
The election commission chair needs to come out and give a public apology you ass
Oh, we're off-duty so employees are being brought in anyway? Don't touch the ballots then lol
as someone from a country with 50M people and we manage fine, this is wild to watch from the outside
Technically speaking, isn't this actually a pretty major issue?
wait this is actually insane, how does a developed country run out of ballots in 2024??
okay but why is nobody talking about how this directly impacted voter turnout?? this is huge
Is the problem that you people voted too much?
14 locations??? I thought it was just 1 place, that's insane??
my conspiracy theorist uncle was RIGHT for once and i hate it
This is some real incompetence
not me finding out about this on here before any news outlet covered it properly ๐
Yeonsu-gu also ran out of ballots
If voting rights aren't protected, what's the point of democracy? The election commission seriously needs to get called out
honestly this feels like a logistical failure that could've been prevented with like... basic planning
In a free democratic country like South Korea, this is absolutely legit not something you dismiss as minor. Is Korea some third-world country now??
Should've cut costs properly somewhere else, not on ballot paper...
lmaooo this explains SO much about what happened at my polling place, thought i was going crazy ๐ญ
