Why That Rental Escort Manga is Creepy as Hell

FT = ForbiddenTome — tap to see Korean slang explained
So there's an escort character in this manga (described in crude language as "mizuhara")
The model is allegedly the author's wife
The author's wife cheated on him, so they divorced
The author asked his ex-wife about the escort character's mannerisms and behavior
His ex actually coached him on it
Turns out reality itself was more of a screwed-up marriage-destruction manga than the actual manga

The author is into NTR stuff apparently
Reality tops the manga
Marriage-destruction manga (a genre about ruining marriages)
Did he get divorced while still serializing? His mental state must be cooked
She's a virgin (important note)
not me discovering this manga exists through a callout post, but also not surprised by the drama at all
This is making me dizzy lmaooooo
So like, no confirmation he actually divorced or anything
This take is wild because I actually enjoyed it but yeah fair points, the author definitely pushes some sketchy boundaries 💀
I got curious reading the post but then realized it's 100% gossip with zero actual evidence so I gave up
This is a pretty popular series and the story is super juicy, but there's literally nothing when you search for it—just interviews where he denies it. Honestly seems very likely to be just rumors
wait people are still defending this? the power dynamics are literally the entire problem
Even if it's a made-up story, the manga itself sucks so bad that nobody even bothers calling him out on it lol
honestly i never thought about it that way but now i can't unsee how weird the whole premise is lmao
Finally someone said it! The romanticization in that series always made me uncomfortable and I'm glad it's being called out.
reading this thread and realizing my friends weren't just being dramatic when they said it was creepy
