Singer MC Mong (47, real name Shin Dong-hyun) expressed his grievance over people calling him "Tooth Extraction Mong." On the 18th at 8 PM, MC Mong held a live broadcast on his social media to clarify rumors surrounding him. During the broadcast, MC Mong said, "I've lived under the name MC Mong for 28 years. Sometimes I was called by the nickname 'Tooth Extraction Mong,'" and continued, "One of my biggest regrets is crying at the press conference about my military service violation, reading a script prepared by lawyers. I regret that I couldn't say what I actually wanted to say back then." He then played an exclusive report directly and said, "Before extracting my teeth, I was already exempt from military service due to lumbar disc herniation, ACL rupture, and other conditions. I was acquitted all the way to the Supreme Court. But when people saw that news, they thought, 'MC Mong must have problems,' 'He pulled out his healthy teeth for 80 million won.'" He also claimed, "At that time, I submitted X-rays taken in 1999 as evidence. 18 of my teeth had deteriorated. But that evidence disappeared. My manager Hunseok said he wanted to talk about how that evidence disappeared. That's when I realized it. 'In this country, evidence doesn't just disappear—they also create evidence,'" he asserted.
I'm rooting for you from afar, at least

In the appeals hearing on November 21, 2011, the verdict came out essentially the same as the original. He was found not guilty of intentional tooth extraction, but guilty of delaying enlistment. Why did you conveniently leave out the guilty part, you bastard?
It's so typical—dude gets convicted, and suddenly he's the victim ignoring all the facts. Playing the "I'm wronged" card while conveniently forgetting what actually happened to him.
lmaooo the audacity to publicly admit this, like bro just stay quiet 😭
So did you bust all the illegal gambling celebrities too? You said you found evidence, but you didn't report them and just kept bringing up the military exemption??
Just reminisced about old affairs, embezzlement scandals—dragged out a bunch of old dirt and called it a day. Mentioned one celebrity but had zero actual evidence.
wait so he's saying he got the exemption WITHOUT having to actually do it? 💀 that's wild if true
this is why people lose respect, just own your decisions instead of complaining about 'unfair treatment'
