Couple Takes 12-Hour Flight With Infant Twins

They spent all 12 hours holding the twins.

Shortly after takeoff, they served the in-flight meal. After eating and feeling full, I tried to recline my seat to sleep, but

Less than a minute after reclining, the guy who became a dad behind me said, "Could you please put your seat up?"

So of course I got up right away. I figured it was cramped, so I put it back up, but they didn't budge at all.

So about 5 minutes later, I reclined my seat again and immediately he was like "Put your seat up. It's cramped." So I turned around and was like "Huh?"

"We have a baby, so it's inconvenient if we recline the seat," they said. Meanwhile, that couple's seats were reclined back.

The two seats in front of me were also reclined, so I was pretty uncomfortable too.

The foreign man sitting next to me also reclined his seat back a while later, and then the baby's mom said in Korean, "Excuse me. Can you please put your seat up?"

Since the foreigner didn't understand, she kept tapping his seat saying "up! up! baby," and the foreigner looked bewildered and glanced at me.

When I explained that they were asking us not to recline our seats because they were holding their baby, the foreigner said, "Why should I be the one inconvenienced when it's not even my baby?" and I 100% agreed with him.

So I said from behind, "I'm sorry, but the front seat is reclined and it's uncomfortable for me too," and reclined my seat, but they kept pushing my seat with their knees or feet.

After enduring it for about five hours, when the babies started crying and whining as they were leaving, the foreigner called a flight attendant and talked to them, and after that I wasn't harassed and was able to recline my seat and had a good flight and arrived, but as we were getting off, the baby's dad said, "We let babies board first, so show some consideration. If you want to be comfortable, take business class."

So I said, "Sir, why don't you take business class and travel comfortably with your baby," and then his wife said, "Oppa, ignore them."
