tea about how I know what my husband is thinking just by him breathing โ‘ค Direct and Ning โ‘ฃ 6 days ago I know what my husband is thinking just by him breathing. High probability it's soju or the bathroom or stir-fried pork. When we're done ordering at a restaurant and he looks deep in thought = he wants soju. After eating and acting awkward = he needs the bathroom. I wrote a comment yesterday without much thought, but these random guys commented so I got so excited I deleted the post lmao. I love my husband so much so much so much!!!! My husband seems to like me too lol. Marriage viral?! My husband is a really fascinating creature. I used to only see really sensitive guys (guys in Korean literature majors are sensitive), but seeing my husband who majored in PE... oh... so this is what the male species is like, I realized for the first time. A life made up of literally just soju/bathroom/pork/baseball (+ women) has such a simple logical structure. Really simple logic compared to dealing with Korean lit majors and women!! At least he's genuine about food. Like if I don't eat a proper meal right now, I'll never eat a proper meal in my life? That kind of vibe, but despite that he usually eats well even if I just throw together some rice. Still, he often deliberates until he figures out what he wants to eat. But that takes a while and it's rough sometimes... at most he'll think for 3 hours. Then he'll type in 'hotpot', 'pho', 'spicy octopus rice bowl', or occasionally 'chicken feet', and if I'm lazy I just type 'Chinese takeout' and he almost always says okay. I asked if I should make bibim noodles and he answered 'rejected' so I've been cursing him out for 5 years. (Because I cook everything and serve it to him!! Not even like "let's eat something different" but lying in bed going "dum dum" and shouting "REJECTED") His genuine love for stir-fried pork. Stir-fried pork has to be made with pork belly to count. Front leg meat, back leg meat, neck meat = that's just stir-fried pork. (Of course this only applies at home.) He likes to pan-fry the pork belly then add veggies and stir-fry, and also likes it spicy, so you add black pepper + fine gochugaru (cheongyang) and it's good. Add seasoning stock powder and just a bit of sugar. + Side vegetables, if it has angelica root it feels like proper side vegetables, if not it's just sides. + If you add ramen noodles here and stir-fry it he asks if today's his birthday. (He says I have to keep the stir-fried noodles recipe secret because he's planning to open a stir-fried pork restaurant in Scotland.) As for soju... there's a soju fridge in the master bedroom. It's loud. Really loud. But it's his favorite appliance. If I supply ice specifically for soju drinks he's out cold that day. He's genuinely happy but around the time he finishes a bottle of soju his eyes get all misty and he misses Scotland. (He wants to go drink whiskey.) If he looks awkward while eating he needs to go to the bathroom. He sits in the bathroom for 20-30 minutes playing games and doing whatever he wants and sleeping. (Our goal is to move to a house with 2 bathrooms.) He gets hot so I hung up a small fan. (It's an old villa without a ventilation system...) Seems to like it... (honestly not sure because he doesn't say he likes or dislikes things. Just seems to say things in his head. But I think he likes it.) And when we wait for a traffic light at a crosswalk he wants to swing a bat at me. Or he takes a baseball bat stance. Or at home when he sees me he hugs me or throws a joke(??) Why does he do this????? He throws one-twos. Why? Why? Why does he throw one-twos?? Or he yells "Jikwon!" and throws punches. Why why why why?? Of course they barely touch so it doesn't hurt... but he keeps doing it so I got fed up and hit him back. But he keeps going. I have

Jealous of Ha lmao

๐Ÿฐ

My wife does the same thing lol. She says she knows what I'm thinking all the time, so when she goes to her sister's place she puts my photos on her body pillow and dresses it in her clothes, or puts glasses on it, then leaves a sticky note saying "don't cry, just sit there" โ€” I feel like a celebrity being obsessively stan-ed by a fan lmaooo

๐Ÿฐ

That's actually cute though?

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

It's Jiggeon not Jigwon

๐ŸฆŠ

But pork belly jeyuk tastes bad, there's too much grease

๐ŸฆŠ

Pork belly jeyuk actually tastes amazing, you should make it again

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

I'm not saying pork grease tastes bad lol what โ€” honestly you're just looking for a fight with your comments lmaooo. Whatever you say I'm not gonna read it anyway so either leave or keep spouting bullshit all day, do whatever you want.

๐Ÿฐ

But the way they eat it with rice mixed in is the appeal

๐Ÿฐ

Just grill the pork belly normally like you usually would, drain the grease, then stir-fry it with seasoning and veggies โ€” it's insanely delicious

๐ŸฆŠ

If you don't drain the grease you should only eat beef brisket from now on

๐ŸฆŠ

If you make jeyuk from pork belly without draining the grease it tastes absolutely terrible. The grease thins out the seasoning and keeps it from sticking. Anyone who doesn't drain it doesn't know food. Even when you grill pork belly normally the grease drips off anyway.

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

But if you save it without draining and make fried rice with it, it's insanely good โ€” does that make me not know food?

๐Ÿฐ

Fried rice and jeyuk are totally different dishes lol what are you talking about. And if you put too much grease in fried rice it gets soggy and tastes bad.

๐ŸฆŠ

??? Did I say fried rice and jeyuk are the same thing even once?

๐Ÿฐ

Can't you bring up fried rice when you're talking about pork belly grease?

๐ŸฆŠ

If you put too much it tastes bad > You failed at seasoning, what do you expect me to do about it? Too much soy sauce tastes bad too, too much salt, sugar, MSG, anything in excess ruins food.

๐Ÿฐ

You brought up fried rice when we were talking about jeyuk

๐Ÿฟ๏ธ

I'm not trying to tell you what to do at all.

๐ŸฆŠ

Then why bring up something obvious right now?

๐Ÿบ

Why did you even mention it?

๐Ÿฐ

That fried rice tastes soggy and bad when you put too much pork belly grease in it

๐ŸฆŠ

Nah this isn't getting through. I'm just gonna ignore you โœ“

๐ŸฆŠ

this is either the cutest thing ever or the most terrifying superpower depending on what he's thinking about

๐Ÿฐ

Is my point hard to understand?

๐Ÿฐ

You're just not grasping what the actual problem is in our conversation.

๐Ÿฐ

What problem โ€” YOU'RE the problem for draining the grease. Why would you waste something that tasty.

๐ŸฆŠ

Yeah eat a lot of it.. I'm just gonna drain a little and get rid of the rest..

๐Ÿฐ

If pork grease has no taste why don't you just eat beef brisket your whole life โ€” oh wait you don't even like that?

๐ŸฆŠ

lmaooo this is literally my mom, she can read my dad's mind before he even opens his mouth ๐Ÿ’€

๐Ÿฐ

nah this is just called being married for 20+ years, you develop telepathy or something

๐Ÿฐ

POV: you're about to get caught for eating the last piece of cake
